Using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) in Psychotherapy
I integrate EMDR in my psychotherapy approach. I find it useful to use because it can accelerate the therapy and it can help to access experiences that solely talking therapy might not. In addition to its use for the treatment with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) it can also be used to treat: anxiety and panic attacks, depression, stress, phobias, sleep problems, complicated grief, pain relief and self-esteem and performance anxiety.
